Afternoon Rain - Hana

Image © Alison Whalen		 Sun and rain are constantly fighting for territory in the Hana rainforest. More often than not, they agree to disagree and join forces simultaneously. The resulting rainbows, often double or triple, are spectacular.

Because of the mulitple daily showers, the personality and colors of the ocean, waterfalls and pools along the road to Hana are always changing. On this side of the island, I have seen the ocean blend a palette incorporating all the jewel tone colors of a dragonfly's wing.
